OLLU students and University Ministry staff on Oct. 21 joined students and staff from the University of the Incarnate Word and St. Mary’s University for an Intercollegiate Synod on the Eucharist as part of the greater Eucharistic Renewal movement.

The gathering was on conversation and listening sessions on the Eucharist. This was an invitation made to engage students with one another and to voice their understanding of the Eucharist.

Participants attended at the invitation of Bishop Gary Janak. Presentations were given by Dr. Dolores Martinez, Director of the Archdiocesan Office of Worship, and Dr. Kris Seaman, Oblate School of Theology professor.
