Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Ryan Dollinger, a second-year doctoral student in Social Work, to the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners.
A licensed clinical social worker, Dollinger and two other appointees will serve a term through Feb. 1, 2029. The board is responsible for regulating the practice of social work in Texas.
Dollinger is a supervisory social worker for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He is a member of the Department of Health and Human Services Policy Council for Children and Families and belongs to the National Association of Social Workers.
