Two Political Science graduates met by chance at the Midwest Political Science Association Annual Conference in Chicago when they presented their papers, April 4-7.
Sarai Benitez (BA 2022), a second year Colorado State University PhD candidate, presented her paper “Policy Impacts on Education and Social Dynamics” and also served as chair of the panel. In addition, she served as a discussant on the Latinx Racial Politics panel.
A second Political Science graduate and McNair Scholar, Stephanie Garza, co-presented her paper, “Public Opinion in International Relations.” Professor Garza is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Texas at Austin.
