The men’s and women’s track and field teams competed in the 20th Annual J. Fred Duckett Twilight Meet sponsored by Rice University on Saturday.

Head Coach Patrick Torres commented, “It was a huge day for standards on the women’s side for overall races. Aziza Clark, Kristen Torres and Madison Perez all broke their own school records. Our women’s team will be the largest its ever been at nationals this year, and a lot of that happened this weekend.”

Coach Torres said this about the men’s team, “It was a tough day for the shorter races. The track didn’t give back to us as much as we would have liked in those events. But some bright sports were our several season bests, our mile relay moving up to A Standard and Paul Minjoth‘s school record.”
