Four women golfers named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

Four members of the OLLU women’s golf team have been named 2024 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Golf Scholar-Athletes. They are Alexis Calzada, Ceci Lattuada, Madelyn Miller and Annabelle Reyna.

The 2024 list features 124 schools and 400 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale; appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

Junior Alexis Calzada, a Business Marketing major, has been part of the team since 2021. She played in two tournaments this season and her best score was 172. She earned a 3.71 GPA.

Senior Ceci Lattuada, a Business Administration major, has been part of the team since 2020. She competed in eight tournaments and finished in fourth place at the Texas Wesleyan University Spring Invite. She marked a 3.51 GPA.

Senior Madelyn Miller, an Early Education and Psychology major, has been part of the team since 2020. She participated in eight tournaments and grabbed fifth place at the Red River Athletic Conference/Frontier Conference Championship. She earned a 3.73 GPA. 

Junior Annabelle Reyna, a Business Management major, has been part of the team since 2021. She played in eight tournaments and earned sixth place at the University of Houston-Victoria Fall Classic. She marked a 3.60 GPA.
