Title IX Coordinator
- The Title IX Coordinator manages the Title IX Office and acts with independence and authority free from bias and conflicts of interest. The Title IX Coordinator oversees all resolutions under the Policy and Procedures. All persons of the Title IX Team are vetted and trained to ensure they are not biased for or against any party in a specific case, or for or against Complainants and/or Respondents.
- Ensures Title IX reports are handled consistently and in a prompt and equitable manner.
- Oversees OLLU’s efforts related to the intake, investigation, resolution, and implementation of supportive measures to stop, remediate, and prevent discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prohibited under this policy.
- Reviews reports to identify and address any patterns.
- Coordinates the work of all OLLU departments that are engaged in Title IX efforts.

- Serve as the main contact to individuals bringing complaints.
- Are an impartial source of assistance in the resolution of disputes and provide support measures.
- Investigate incidents, interview parties, witness, obtain documentation.
- Compile evidence into an investigation report.
- Facilitate informal resolutions.
- Deputy reassignment can be requested in situations where there is conflict of interest.
