Fourteen students at Our Lady of the Lake University were inducted this spring into Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society. The honor society recognizes students who excel in the study of Spanish and actively promote Hispanic culture and language.
Dr. Maribel Lárraga, professor of Spanish and faculty advisor for Xi Upsilon, OLLU’s Sigma Delta Pi chapter, organized and led two induction ceremonies held on April 4 and April 22, 2025. These events celebrated the students’ academic achievements and cultural commitment, with many families attending in support.
