This fall, the School of Business hosted two dynamic Lunch & Learn sessions featuring industry professionals—all proud OLLU alumni—who brought real-world insight directly into the student experience.
Mr. Christopher Espinoza (Owner, Texas Sugar Daddies) and Mr. Gregory Kitchen (New Business Ventures Principal, USAA) delivered engaging presentations on presentation skills, business leadership, and personal finance. Their sessions offered students practical perspectives that strengthened the connection between coursework and career preparation.
Lunch for both events was generously sponsored by Mr. Espinoza, Mr. Kitchen, and Ms. Yvonne Pelayo (Director of Local Government Relations, CPS Energy).
Across the two sessions, 25 Business students participated, representing programs throughout the School of Business. Student feedback highlighted the value of learning from professionals who actively work in the fields students aspire to enter.
These events continue to strengthen the School’s commitment to offering meaningful, experiential learning opportunities that foster student success.
