Spirit Day 2026: Celebrating Faith, Community and Employee Service

Our Lady of the Lake University will celebrate Spirit Day 2026 on Thursday, Sept. 10, with the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit and Employee Service Recognition.

The Mass will begin at 11 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Conventual Chapel, bringing the OLLU community together in prayer and reflection as the University begins a new academic year.

Immediately following Mass, OLLU will recognize faculty and staff members who have reached significant milestones in their years of service to the University.

Employees are eligible to receive a Service Award after completing full-time service in five-year increments beginning at the 10-year mark. These awards celebrate the dedication, commitment and contributions of employees who have helped strengthen the OLLU community throughout their years of service.

Service Award Eligibility

Faculty and staff members who believe they are eligible for a Service Award based on their years of full-time service at OLLU but do not see their name on the recognition list are encouraged to contact Human Resources as soon as possible.
