The Academic Center for Success (ACE), located in the first floor of the library, will host a Christmas Extravaganza today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Students are invited to take a break from studying to enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, snacks, cookies and Christmas cheer.
The fall 2024 StudyCon event will happen on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. in the Sueltenfuss Library.
StudyCon offers students a holistic approach to preparing for exams. It includes massage therapy, yoga, meditation, karaoke, prayer, food, and games, as well as tutoring in math, science, and writing, mental health support, and a prayer wall. Most importantly, StudyCon emphasizes taking care of yourself, so you engage in long-term learning and long-term academic success.

Are you ready for midterms? The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) is ready to help! ACE will hold “Level Up” on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. in the Sueltenfuss Library. It will focus on strategies for learning more efficiently and effectively through interactive study sessions.
A nacho bar, snacks, and drinks will be open to all participants.
In collaboration with the Library, Wellness Center, HuSS, and Advising, the ACE will host sessions, such as Reading Between the Lines, Math Is for Everyone, Boost Your Memory, Compose Your Playlist, Beat the Clock, and more.
Learn study hacks for note review, reading dense texts, and writing a timed essay exam, among other learning strategies.
Registration will be on the first floor of the Library in front of the ACE. You will receive a game card for collecting stamps that make you eligible for prizes. Prizes will be drawn at the close of the event.

The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) will have limited tutoring hours during Spring Break, March 14-17. The Math and Tutoring Centers will not have any tutoring hours available.
The Mary Francine Writing Center will have reduced hours: afternoon availability is in-person OR online chat; evening availability is online chat ONLY.

StudyCon Fall 2021 will be held on Wednesday from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Sueltenfuss Library. StudyCon approaches final exams holistically, focusing on body, mind and spirit. The event will begin with the Providence Blessing and will include guided meditation, yoga, massage, food and prizes, as well as tutoring, group study (math and chemistry), study tips and essay test writing tips.
This year, StudyCon, in conjunction with the Student Government Association, will allow students to get loud and relieve stress by hammering on a dilapidated car at Car Bash. Art, Inc. will also be hosting a painting booth for students.
The Providence Blessing will be live-streamed via WebEx and YouTube from StudyCon at 6 p.m. A StudyCon Online playlist will be available on the StudyCon Lib Guides page of the Sueltenfuss Library website throughout fall 2021 final exams.
