Students encouraged to ‘Get It Done by May 1’

The Center for Student Involvement and Residence Life have partnered together to help all students “Get It Done By May 1!” Students are encouraged to get advised, register, apply for financial aid and select a payment plan option before depart campus for the summer.

Join the Center for Student Development and Residence Life for a series of events, beginning today with “Snack Pack Monday” from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Renaissance Parlor. Learn what you need to do in order to Get It Done!

In order to receive a Snack Pack, returning students must show proof of fall 2024 registration and FAFSA completion. Graduating students must show they have no holds.

Random Acts of Kindness Week, Spirit Week starts Feb. 12

The Center for Student Involvement, Residence Life, and the vOLLUnteer Unity Council are hosting Random Acts of Kindness Week AND Spirit Week, Feb. 12-17. Every day there will be something exciting happening around campus to celebrate.

Fall Fest set for Thursday

The Center for Student Involvement invites everyone to attend the annual Fall Fest on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. on the Library Side Lawn. Classes will be dismissed from 1:45 p.m. until 5 p.m. to allow the entire campus community an opportunity to engage outside of the classroom and office. Festivities Include:

Visit with the Advising and Student Business Office to “Get It Done by Dec. 1!” Complete your advising, registration and payment plan set up (first payment is not due until Jan. 2) and get a free t-shirt.

Food Covered by Student Government Association (SGA): Dirt Road Cookers 8-Foot Pizza – Pepperoni, Sausage, Margarita, and Brisket Beverage and HTeaO.

Free Activities: Wrecking Ball, Eurobungy, Wizzer, Wipeout Redneck Games, 4 Man Tug and Dunk, Photo Booth Station, Airbrush Artist, and Lawn Games.

Cost Activities: Food Trucks on site – Dona Kikas, Coco Leche, and Maniac Chef’s.

Save the date: Fall Fest coming Nov. 9 to Library Side Lawn

Fall Fest 2023 will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the library side lawn. Classes will be dismissed from 1:45 p.m. until 5 p.m. to allow students and staff to enjoy the fall festivities. Stay tuned for more details!

This annual festival is hosted by The Center of Student Involvement and brings our campus community together by offering games, food trucks, drinks and fun for all.
