The OLLU softball team defeated Sul Ross State University, 8-0, on Saturday, the second day of the OLLU Saints Classic Softball Tournament. The Saints improve to 7-1 overall while the Lobos drop to 0-2.
Grace Ross and Marissa Bradley each drove in two runs for the Saints. Cassandra Valdez pitched all five innings, allowing just one hit while striking out 11 and notching her third win of the season.
