OLLU to host one-man drama, ‘The Life of St. Francis’

OLLU will host the one-man drama, “The Life of St. Francis,” on Oct. 4 at 4 p.m. in the 24th Street Theater. The drama is based on “The Legend of the Three Companions,” and is written and performed by José Rubén De León, Minister for Liturgy at St. Mary’s University. 

Oct. 4 is the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and natural environment. St. Francis will be honored at OLLU with the one-man drama, followed by a “Blessing of the Animals” in the Mall Area at 5:15 p.m.

Acceptable animals to bring for the blessing include dogs, cats, birds, fish, ferrets, small rodents and small reptiles. All animals must be on a leash or confined in a safe and suitable carrier.
