The volleyball team swept the Langston University 3-0 in a Red River Athletic Conference match Friday evening. The win keeps the Saints undefeated in conference with an 11-0 record and 18-3 overall, while the Lions drop to 3-7 in conference and overall. The first-place Saints are two-and-a-half games ahead of the University of St. Thomas (8-2/13-8), followed by Wiley College (8-3/10-8) and the University of the Southwest (6-5/8-17). All four teams have qualified for the conference tournament that the Saints will host Nov. 13-14. Still vying for the final two spots are Langston, Huston-Tillotson University (3-7/3-14), Jarvis Christian College (2-9/7-24) and Texas College (1-9/2-19). Read full story online.
