First Generation Friendsgiving Fiesta set for Saturday at OLLU-RGV

A First Generation Friendsgiving Fiesta will be held on Saturday from 3:30-5 p.m. at the OLLU-RGV campus and is open to all first=generation RGV students. Come out and enjoy games, sweets and drinks!

Phi Alpha inducts 31 new members

The Phi Alpha Honor Society inducted 31 new members during a hybrid ceremony on March 4. 

An honor society for social work students, Phi Alpha, welcomed the following four Bachelor of Social Work students to its Delta Delta chapter: Richard Diaz, Kemberly Dominguez, Lorena Lopez, and Shayla Ramos. 

Phi Alpha inducted 27 Master of Social Work students: Cyrena Cervantes, Shalita Edwards, Maia Faulk, Natrice Ford, Jennifer Garcia-Valdez, Dionne Garfield, Cassandra Garza, Consuelo Garza, Rosalinda Garza, Yadira Guerrero, Sarah Guevara, Ofelia Gutierrez, Melissa Hernandez, Bridget Jackson, Chelsey Jauregui, Ana Juarez, Alissa Meyer, Elizabeth Meyer, Samantha Mitchell, Michael Montes, Yvonne Ordaz, Virginia Pavon, Chanti Richards, Sheccid Rosales, Anisa Vargas, Susan Villagomez, and Angela Young.
