Psi Chi turns 25, inducts new student members

The OLLU International Honor Society, Psi Chi chapter, celebrated its 25th year and  inducted 29 new members – 12 undergraduates and 17 graduate students on April 4.

Three additional students transferred their memberships to the OLLU Psi Chi chapter.

The Micheleen Barragy Outstanding Senior in Psychology Award was given to Theresa Dudik for her outstanding academic performance.

The 2022-2023 Psi Chi Officers are:

President: Rebecca Donato, President-elect: Viviane Mithani

Secretary: Jessica Corona, Secretary-elect: Sarah Morales

SGA Representative: Edwin Ruiz

Graduate Student Representative: Marie Melroe

Psi Chi announces award, inducts new students and officers

Psi Chi, the International Honor Society of Psychology, inducted 17 new members on March 4, announced new officers and named the winner of its annual award during a virtual ceremony.

The Psi Chi Honor Society presented the Micheleen Barragy Outstanding Senior in Psychology Award to Bryana Servantes. 

New inductees include undergraduates Rebecca R. Donato, Nadia C. Gloria (pictured above), Aliyah A. Lara Carmona, Crystal M. Ibarra, Samantha Martinez, Haley H. Smith, Melissa Moreno Alba, Bryana Cruz, Felicia Garcia, Karyme Moctezuma, Bryanna Ramirez and Mia Sanchez. Inducted graduate students were Tonisha Cade, Cierra B. Downing, Loren N. Johnson, Angela M. Peña and Ashley Webb.
