Saints Golf Classic a big success

The Seventh Annual Saints Golf Classic was a huge success. Held at the Golf Club of Texas – San Antonio, the tournament attracted a sold-out capacity of players and drew the largest support from corporate and individual sponsors to date.

OLLU President Abel Chávez played a round himself. The new OLLU drumline, cheerleaders and dance team attended the event and posed with Dr. Chávez for photos. The Saints Golf Classic supports OLLU Athletics, helping to ensure the athletic and academic success of student-athletes.

Sixth Annual OLLU Saints Golf Classic set for this Friday

OLLU is sponsoring the Sixth Annual Our Lady of the Lake University Saints Golf Classic benefitting the OLLU Athletic Fund this Friday at the Golf Club of Texas. 

Four Seasons Promotions has generously offered title sponsorship for the golf tournament.

The price to play is $150 per player or $600 per team of four.  For a hole sponsor, the price is $150. Visit the golf classic page online for more information and to register,

These funds can be earmarked for one of OLLU’s intercollegiate athletic teams, including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross-country, men’s golf, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, cheer and dance and volleyball. Other sponsorships are available.

By supporting the Saints Golf Classic and the OLLU Athletic Fund, participants will help OLLU athletics continue to succeed both in the classroom and on the playing field.

The tournament begins at 7 a.m. with registration, followed by the opening of the range at 7:15 a.m., and the shotgun start at 8 a.m. The tournament will be a 4-person Florida Scramble. Lunch and awards ceremony will follow after the round at the Golf Club of Texas.
