Inaugural BLUE OUT to take place at Friday’s basketball games

The University will hold its Inaugural BLUE OUT on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. to promote the women’s and men’s basketball games against Jarvis Christian College. Free limited edition t-shirts will be given out to those who come to the women’s game, which takes place at 5:30 p.m., while supplies last. During the women’s game, attendees will have the opportunity to win a Kindle Fire, Saints Basket and various gift cards. During the men’s game, which begins at 7:30 p.m., fans will have the chance to win an iPad Mini, a Fit Bit Wrist Band and various gift cards. In addition, one student with the most spirit (both games) will win a $50 movie pack. One student group with the most spirit (both games) will win a pizza party. Winners must be present at both games and will be announced at end of men’s game. Students and groups must register by Wednesday with Liz Longoria at elongoria@ollusa.edu to participate. Reminder that all students, staff and faculty must show their ID to get free admission to the games. Admission for children, 7-17, is $3 and for alumni and adults, 18-older, is $5.
