The men’s basketball team ended its season last Friday after losing the semifinals match to the University of St. Thomas 64-74. The Saints finish at 21-11 overall and 14-4 in the Red River Athletic Conference, while St. Thomas advances to the conference tournament finals with a record of 20-9 overall and 14-4 in conference. Xavier Roberson (SR, Houston, Texas), the nation’s leading scorer, had one point in the first half and finished with 18 including 7-of-16 field goals, 3-of-9 3-pointers and 1-of-2 free throws. Wood-Dvorak added 17 points including 6-of-13 from the field goal and 5-of-10 from 3-point range. The only other Saint to score in double digits was Mike Willie (SR, Austin, Texas), who finished with 13 points.
