Four members of women’s soccer and one from cross-country named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that five student-athletes from OLLU have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Soccer senior Erika Thompson and juniors Hailey Garcia, Dulcie Gomez and Teegan Luckemeyer have received this award for the first time (Read full article online). In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
