OLLU announces resignation of volleyball coach Mark Lee

OLLU announced that Mark Lee has resigned as head women’s volleyball coach. He has taken the head men’s and women’s volleyball coach at Los Angeles Trade Tech Community College in California. Lee became the volleyball coach for the Saints when the university began its foray into intercollegiate athletics in 2007. Volleyball and men’s soccer were the first teams to begin competing in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). During his eight seasons with OLLU, Lee has taken his team to the postseason seven times. In the team’s second season, the Saints made it to the finals, and this past year, the Saints returned to the championship game. His overall record with OLLU is 102-105 and 59-22 in the Red River Athletic Conference.  In addition to his teams’ successes, 40 of Lee’s players have earned all-conference honors, one received newcomer of the year, six have been named Academic All-Americans, six netted NAIA scholar recognition, and 50 secured conference scholar athlete awards. Athletic Director Jack Hank will begin a search for a new head coach. Those interested should contact him at jlhank@ollusa.edu. Read full story online.
