OLLU community invited to ‘Jewish Prophetic Voices for Justice in Israel/Palestine’

The OLLU community is invited to attend, “Jewish Prophetic Voices for Justice in Israel/Palestine,” featuring Marc H. Ellis, today at 3:30 p.m. in Providence Hall, West Social Room.

Ellis is the author of more than 100 articles and 20 books, including “Ending Auschwitz: The Future of Jewish and Christian Life,” “Judaism Does Not Equal Israel,” “The Future of the Prophetic,” and “Burning Children: A Jewish View of the War in Gaza.”

His writings deal with Jewish liberation theology, post-Holocaust ethics, Jewish-Christian-Muslim relations, the land of Israel/Palestine, and peace and justice studies. He retired as director of the Center for Jewish Studies at Baylor University in 2012 and currently is a visiting lecturer at universities around the world.
