The annual review of the Blackboard system—the platform on which Lake Online is built— revealed an urgent need to upgrade to the current version of the platform. This upgrade has been scheduled for this Wednesday. Thus, the Lake Online system will be unavailable from 10 p.m. Wednesday evening through 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
Although it is policy to avoid service interruptions during course terms whenever possible, it has been determined that this interruption is unavoidable.
Those who have questions or need assistance in utilizing alternative teaching and learning technologies should contact Dr. Kimberly Gibson, assistant vice president for Academic Affairs in Online Learning, through the helpdesk system at helpdesk@ollusa.edu.
