More than 140 members of the OLLU community participated in OLLU Make a Difference Day on Oct. 22 at the San Antonio Food Bank. Volunteers helped pick cauliflower in the field, plant more cauliflower plants, package and sort frozen foods, prepare more than 600 meal kits for senior citizens, and other helpful tasks. The work of volunteers helped to serve more than 3,000 individuals.
OLLU Make a Difference Day is coordinated by the vOLLUnteer Unity Council and the Center for Service-Learning & Volunteerism (CSLV). Visit the CSLV office in Worden Building, Room 23, to learn about volunteer opportunities that are available each week.
