Art program faculty member, Sabra Booth, lecturer of art, and OLLU alumna, Carrie Avery, will have work on display in the annual Uptown Art Stroll Nov. 5-6. This is a free two-day art stroll through three charming San Antonio communities visiting some of San Antonio’s most exciting artists. Booth will have a variety of work exhibited including sketches from recent trips to Italy, Japan, and Mexico. Avery will exhibit hand-stitched artist’s books and prints. There will be many other artists with their work on display throughout the neighborhood.
Since the artists want to make it easy for attendees to visit all the participating locations, the Art Stroll will feature free pedi-cab rides between the different venues.
