The ITS Division has finished installing the speakers for the emergency notification system and will test them tomorrow. During the test, volunteers will be near each location to ensure that the speakers work and are intelligible. The speakers will emit a few beeps followed by the word “test.” The speakers will not emit the normal emergency notification during the test.
Speakers have been installed in the following locations:
- Ayers Hall
- Centennial Hall
- Flores Hall
- Pacelli Hall
- Providence Hall
- St. Ann’s Hall
- St. Ann’s Courtyard
- In the Mall Area behind the Post Office
- In the Mall Area near the Bookstore
- Inside Thiry Auditorium
- Inside the UWAC
