Women’s basketball finishes Jackson Rotary Classic 0-2 after loss to Vanguard

womensbasketball-leshoreThe Jackson Rotary Classic hosted by Campbellsville University served as a measuring stick for many NAIA National Championship hopefuls, bringing together some of the best teams in the country. After falling 60-91 to the Vanguard University (VU) Lions, the Saints women’s basketball team found itself with plenty to work on. As a team, the Saints finished just 31.3 percent from the field, including 4-for-28 from the 3-point line (14.3 percent), while committing 23 turnovers. The Saints are now 3-5 on the season.
