OLLU students, staff and faculty are invited to at a tutorial on “R,” an open-source programming language for data analysis, on Monday, Nov. 6, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Main Building, Room 311A. Michael Albert, senior data analyst in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research, will lead the tutorial.
R has become increasingly popular in recent years and is the technology of choice for many academic researchers and people who work in data analytics and data science.
The tutorial is open to all interested in learning more about the language and how to use it. Those who are interested are asked to fill out a very brief survey on their experience using statistical software. The survey can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DDRWZ9K.
