Kathryn Winney, assistant professor of accounting, has been selected to serve a two-year term as incoming chair of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Scholar-Practitioner Publications Committee. ACBSP is the current accrediting body of the School of Business and Leadership.

As chair, Winney will be responsible for the membership’s oversight of the ACBSP publications and collaboration with its editorial board, and for delivering a comprehensive update on business-themed publishing to the ACBSP membership at the national convention each year. The committee is responsible for the publication of the peer-reviewed international business journal, “The Transnational Journal of Business.”

Winney will serve a term as vice chair until June 30, 2018, and then assume the role of chair on July 1, 2018.
