ITS staff to migrate student email accounts to Office 365 during Easter break
During the Easter break, ITS staff will be relocating OLLU student email accounts from the current on-premise email servers into the cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 system.
Student email accounts currently reside on email servers that are physically located on the San Antonio campus. There are several email servers working together to provide students with access to email accounts. The current servers and the email software running on them are nearing the end of their life.
Faculty and staff email accounts were migrated to Office 365 over the Christmas break and the migration of student accounts will complete the shift to using Office 365 as OLLU’s email provider.
