The OLLU men’s track and field team finished in third place at the Red River Athletic Conference Championship with a total of 112 points. Winning the title was Wiley College with 236 points, followed by Texas College with 146 points.

OLLU was followed by the University of the Southwest with 91, Langston University with 70, Jarvis Christian College with 58 and Huston-Tillotson University with seven points.

Head Coach Stephen Sherman commented, “I thought our guys performed outside of my expectations for them. Each and every one of them got after it and left it all out there. There were several examples and displays of fortitude that were really fun and gratifying to see. It wasn’t a win, but I am really proud of our guys.
