The men’s golf team is in Arizona today and Tuesday to participate in the Golden State Athletic Conference/Association for Independent Institutions/Red River Athletic Conference Tournament hosted by Arizona Christian University. The tournament will take place at the Wigwam Golf Course on the Gold Course. This is a championship golf course that has hosted USGA events, the Canadian PGA Tour events and collegiate and collegiate All-American Invitationals. The participants will cover more than 7,200 yards and the course is touted as a very difficult test of golf. The Saints team will consist of Rafael Jauregui, Stevan Hinojosa, Louis Flynn, Steve Landry and Kane Ybarra.
