OLLU faculty and staff are invited to participate in a service project as part of “OLLU Employee Service Day,” Tuesday, May 22, from 8:15 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Our Lady of the Lake Convent.

During the service day, volunteers will assist the Sisters of Divine Providence with several projects at the Convent including gardening, helping in McCullough Hall Nursing Center, washing the Sisters’ cars, and cleaning the Stations of the Cross and outdoor cemetery headstones. Some office work will be available for those few who need a lighter task. Afterwards, volunteers will join the Sisters for lunch.

OLLU Employee Service Day is a university-approved initiative so employees do not need to submit vacation time in order to participate.

Employee Service Day is open to the first 30 employees who sign up. Staff must obtain approval from their supervisor before signing up.
