The NAIA announced the list of the women’s outdoor track & field student-athletes, who have been named to the 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team last Friday. OLLU’s Ione Rodriguez (SR/Port Isabel, Texas) was among the honorees.
Rodriguez, a graduate student majoring in Marriage and Family Therapy, earned a 4.0 GPA. She was part of the track and field team in 2014, 2015 and 2016. She took 2017 off and completed her eligibility this season. Read full story here.
