The NAIA announced the men’s track and field student-athletes, who have been named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes. Our Lady of the Lake University’s (OLLU) Derek Barnett (SR/Redlands, Calif.) was among the honorees. He also received NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition in cross-country.

Barnett, a senior majoring in history, earned a 3.74 GPA. He is the first male track and field and cross-country student-athlete to earn NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition. Read full story here.
