The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) announced the two- and four-year colleges, universities and state systems sending participants to its four regularly scheduled 2018 summer institutes. OLLU has been selected to send a team of five or more participants to attend the Institute on General Education and Assessment at the University of Utah.

The Institute on General Education and Assessment provides campus teams with opportunities to refine and advance their pivotal general education programs and their assessment. Teams will explore:

• Intentional, well-defined models of general education;
• Authentic approaches to assessing student learning throughout the student experience;
• Processes for curricular (re)design; and
• The implementation of highly effective practices aligned with the LEAP Essential Learning Outcomes.
