OLLU’s 2019 United Way Charitable Campaign “Serving Our Vibrant Community,” will begin Oct. 8 and run through November. Below are some reasons to consider supporting United Way:
- Gifts to United Way help those who need it most – United Way strategies are evaluated and held accountable for using investments efficiently and effectively.
- Every gift to United Way helps advance the community in four focus areas:
- To ensure that children have a safe and healthy start in life
- To ensure that students stay in school and graduate
- To strengthen individual and family well-being
- To provide a safety net of emergency services like food, clothing and shelter
Employees are asked to make a donation pledge online using the United Way E-Pledge portal at giveuw.org/OLLU. Employees should use their OLLU email address as the “user ID” and their employee ID number as the password. Once signed in, employees will be prompted to create a new password prior to making a donation. There will also be an option to designate pledges to a specific impact partner on the E-Pledge drop down menu.
