OLLU Senior Spotlight: Xavier Solis

The baseball team was second in conference with a 5-1 conference record before its season ended abruptly. Four-year senior Xavier Solis finished the season having played 89 games, with 166 at-bats, 31 runs, 35 hits, five doubles, two home runs, 20 RBIs, 46 total bases, 15 walks and six stolen bases.  He had a career-best .278 batting average and .381 on-base percentage.

Solis summed up his career at OLLU saying, “I would tell the younger players to live in the moment. Play every second of the game with respect and like it’s your last. I enjoyed every minute of my senior year and I enjoyed growing with this team and my coaches. I have love for each member of the team. I’ll never forget my time here with my brothers.”
