OLLU presents ‘Why Catholic Social Teaching Demands Social Justice’

OLLU will present an online event on Thursday, ‘Why Catholic Social Teaching Demands Social Justice,” hosted by critically acclaimed author, historian and Georgetown University professor, Marcia Chatelain, PhD.

In a 90-minute presentation that begins at 6:30 p.m., Dr. Chatelain will discuss the power of Catholic school teaching in its resistance to historic expressions of violence and racial harm. Dr. Chatelain is the author of “South Side Girls” and “Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America.”
