Yolanda Rodriguez-Escobar named new director of CMASR

Yolanda Rodriguez-Escobar, PhD, Assistant Professor of Social Work, has been named the new director of the Center for Mexican American Studies and Research. 

A professor in the Worden School of Social Service since 2009, Dr. Rodriguez-Escobar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position.

She is a licensed Master Social Worker, has a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and belongs to a number of organizations, among them: The National Association of Social Workers, the Association of Latina/Latino Social Work Educators, the Latino Social Workers Association and the Professional Association of Social Workers in HIV/AIDS.
