Save the date: OLLU Moody Professorship Lecture Series set for April 19
The 2022-23 OLLU Moody Professorship Lecture Series will be held on Wednesday April 19 at 4 p.m. in the Lake View Amenities Room, located within the Slater (Lake View) Apartments.
The three-hour event will feature the scholarship and research endeavors of OLLU’s Wallis Sanborn, PhD, Professor of English and Chair of the English, Mass Communications and Drama Department, and Lee Ann Waltz, PhD, RN, an Assistant Professor in the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing at the University of the Incarnate Word.
Dr. Sanborn will speak on “The Paradox of Greatness: Language, the Natural World, Genocide, and the Limited Role of Women in the Fiction of Cormac McCarthy.”
