OLLU freshman distance runner Sanai Robinson broke the school record in the 800m at the FasTrak Athletix Indoor Collegiate Challenge in Houston on Feb. 3.
Robinson clocked in at 2:21.84 and finished fifth in her race.
Head Coach Patrick Torres commented, “A lot of people got to make their indoor debut. I’m thrilled with the depth of our team right now. It’s bittersweet watching the DMR basically match our school record but not qualify for nationals. Sanai’s school record is definitely a good sign for things to come from her as well.”
