Sueltenfuss Library Preserves OLLU History Through Archiving

At OLLU’s Sueltenfuss Library, archival work helps ensure that the University’s history, achievements and community stories remain accessible for future generations.

Through the careful collection, organization and preservation of documents, photographs, publications and other historical materials, the Library safeguards records that tell the story of OLLU’s growth and enduring mission. These materials provide valuable insight into the people, programs and events that have shaped the University and its connection to the San Antonio community.

Archiving is an essential part of preserving institutional memory. Each item is reviewed, described and stored with care so students, faculty, alumni and researchers can better understand and explore OLLU’s past.

The Library’s ongoing archival efforts reflect a commitment to honoring the University’s legacy while making its rich history available to the OLLU community for years to come.
