Christmas decorating of campus set for Nov. 16

The OLLU student body is invited to join in on the festivities as the campus prepares for the Christmas season by decorating the university campus with trees, wreaths, luminarias and blue poinsettias. The shape of the poinsettia flower and its leaves symbolize the Star of Bethlehem, which led the Wise Men to Jesus.

The decorating event will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 3-6:30 p.m., followed by a community thanksgiving prayer at 6:45 p.m. in the Mall Area by the lamp post by Sr. Jane Ann Slater. The event will conclude with a free thanksgiving meal in Sr. Annie B’s Cafeteria. All those who will be participating in helping to decorate are asked to sign up using the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/3KC7AdKcvB
