Counseling and Wellness Services will be hosting Dental Day, offering free dental cleanings and checkups for students, on Friday in UWAC, Room 112 from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Check your email for a survey to register for an appointment.

October is ‘Exercise is Medicine on Campus Month.’ In recognition, Counseling and Wellness Services will be hosting ‘Walk with a Therapist-Mindful Movement’ for faculty and staff every Friday in October. Join Counseling and Wellness for a 30-minute walk, focusing on mindfulness practice as we move our bodies.
Meet at 1 p.m. at the entrance to Walter Student Service Building (Metz side) to start the walk. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Counseling and Wellness Services is continuing its stress management group series for students with a session on Developing Healthy Coping Strategies. It will be held Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Participants should meet at the Counseling and Wellness Office in Walter Student Service Center, Room 206.
The stress management series provides students the opportunity to learn about stress, learn skills to combat stress, and create their own custom stress management plan.
