Connor Bagley selected to Academic All-District Team

Connor Bagley has been selected to the 2022 Academic All-District® Men’s Soccer Team. The program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

College Sports Communicators (formerly the College Sports Information Directors of American – CoSIDA), such as OLLU’s 16-year member Patricia Constantin, submit nominees for consideration. The organization boasts more than 3,000 members, and all are eligible to vote for all sports teams each year.

As an Academic All-District® honoree, Bagley will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.

Connor Bagley has been part of the Saints team since 2019. He played in 10 games, four as a starter this year. He recorded one goal, six shots, two on goal. Bagley, a Business major, earned a 4.0 GPA.

The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.

Keelin Garrity wins conference defensive player of the week

Keelin Garrity (SR/West Hartford, Conn.) was selected as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 20-26. This is the fifth set of conference awards for the 2021 men’s soccer season. Garrity led the Saints to two shutouts last week. The senior goalkeeper from West Hartford, Conn., kept LSU Shreveport under control in a 1-0 victory, and he had three saves in a 4-0 blanking of Texas A&M University-Texarkana. OLLU opened the conference season at 2-0 and evened its record at 3-3 overall.
