Christmas holiday payroll update

For the pay period Dec. 2-15, the deadline for supervisors to approve time sheets will be on Monday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m.

Due to the Christmas holiday schedule, hourly staff employees are reminded that if they are taking any vacation days prior to the holiday break, they must input their vacation and holiday hours into Self-Service Time Entry and submit for approval before departing.

Before departing for the Christmas break, biweekly staff employees will need to Enter all their holiday hours for Dec. 22–29 into Self-Service Time Entry and Submit for approval.  This is because Payroll will have tight deadlines when returning from the break.  Also, the supervisor’s deadline to approve timesheet(s) will be moved to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, to approve timesheet(s).

 Any missed days will not be paid until Jan 19, 2024.

Thanksgiving holiday payroll information

Due to the Thanksgiving holidays this week, the deadline for supervisors and proxy users to review and approve time is today (Nov. 20) at 10 a.m. This will allow the Payroll Office to complete processing in a timely manner for the Nov. 22 bi-weekly pay day.

Incomplete timesheets, or timesheets not approved by supervisors, will not be processed and will be paid the following biweekly pay cycle. Please be sure to complete all steps in the timesheet submission process and check for email confirmation that your timesheet has been approved by your supervisor.

As a reminder:
Bi-weekly employees will be paid on Wednesday for the pay period Nov. 4- 17.
Bi-weekly employees are also reminded to input their holiday hours for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, if not working those days.

Payroll update

The Payroll Department is updating some information within the payroll system this week. As a result, employees paid on the June monthly payroll only may see their direct deposit in their bank account a few days earlier than the published pay date of June 30.  This will vary based upon each banking institution’s processes and may not occur with all monthly paid employees.

Beginning Dec. 17, hourly employees will be able to access and enter vacation time for the pay period that runs from Dec. 18 — Dec. 31 via Self Service.

Any missed days will not be paid on Jan 7, 2022.

Payroll schedule for holidays

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday schedule, bi-weekly employees will be paid on Wednesday Nov. 24 for the pay period Nov. 6- Nov. 19.

All employees are reminded to submit and approve timecards prior to Thanksgiving break if not working on the weekend of Nov. 22 and 23.

Employees are also reminded to input their holiday hours for Nov. 24, 25 and 26.

The deadline for supervisors to review and approve time will be moved to 10 a.m. on Monday Nov. 22.  This will allow the Payroll Office to complete processing in time for the Nov. 24 bi-weekly pay date.
