SEEK King Cake while learning about OLLU’s QEP and new Staff Assembly

All Staff are invited to celebrate Mardi Gras and enjoy some King Cake while learning about OLLU’s Quality Enhancement Plan, “SEEK Transformation,” and hearing about the new Staff Assembly structure.

The event will be held in the Mall Area on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

Quality Enhancement Plan
OLLU’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is part of the university’s reaffirmation of accreditation process through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). All institutions undergoing reaffirmation of accreditation must develop a QEP. OLLU’s QEP is SEEK (Skills, Experience, E-Portfolios, Knowledge) Transformation. It is focused on having students develop e-portfolios to collect signature assignments, document skills and experiences, and make connections between course work and career readiness. Students will use their e-portfolios to develop résumés for job and graduate school applications

Staff Assembly

Staff Assembly is the new representative body for OLLU’s staff. It was created by bringing together the functions of the Staff Advisory and Staff Organization. Staff are invited to learn more about the Staff Assembly and how to become involved.
