Wellness Center hosting campus clinics and blood drive

The university Wellness Center will host a series of health and wellness events on campus over the next few weeks. Events include:

Free walk-in clinic and wellness check coming Sept. 14 and 21 

UT Health will be on campus Sept. 14 and 21 for a free walk-in COVID, flu and/or wellness check in the Library Community Room from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. 

The Wellness Check includes blood pressure, glucose BMI and cholesterol.  

Registration is requested for the walk-in clinic. Register here. 

The Pfizer COVID primary vaccine and booster vaccine will be available for indviduals age 5 and up. The vaccine is free. No insurance is required. If signing up for the first or second booster vaccine, please bring your vaccine card. 

For the flu vaccine, insurance and photo ID are required. No cash will be accepted.  

The clinic will be open to the OLLU community and family members.

Online system to upload vaccine records now available to OLLU employees

OLLU’s online system for voluntarily uploading COVID-19 vaccine records is now available for faculty and staff. Employees are asked to use the link below to upload a photo or scan of their COVID-19 vaccination record.

Faculty and staff who voluntarily opt to share their vaccine status are asked to upload vaccination records by Aug. 11 to assist the university with verifying the percentage of employees who have been vaccinated. The link also is available on the Saints Strong section of the university website which can be accessed from the “Coronavirus Updates” banner at the top of the homepage.

As a reminder, those who do not wish to share their vaccination status will be required to submit a negative COVID-19 test on a weekly basis beginning at the start of the academic year. Details on required testing will be shared soon.

Staff from the Health Education Resource Office will be in Sister Annie B’s Cafeteria during the time/days listed below to provide assistance to anyone who needs help uploading their vaccine record: 

Monday: 8-9 a.m.

Monday: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Tuesday: 8-9 a.m.

Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Those who plan to visit Annie B’s Cafeteria for assistance need to bring their vaccination card along with their employee ID number. Photocopies will be made of the vaccination cards.

OLLU to host vaccine clinic

OLLU will host a vaccine clinic on June 3 in the University Wellness and Activities Center (Room 112) from 3:30-5:30 p.m. It is open to the university community, family members and area residents.

Below are key details:

• UT Health will provide either Johnson and Johnson or Pfizer vaccines. Those who receive vaccines must return on Saturday, June 26, between 3:30-5:30 p.m. for a second shot if Pfizer is selected.

• Photo identification is required. Those who have medical insurance are asked to bring their medical insurance card. This vaccine clinic does not require any out-of-pocket expense.
