OLLU community invited to attend ‘A Hungry Childhood in Kenya’

Peter Kimeu will speak on his personal experience with hunger and poverty in Kenya.

The OLLU community is invited to “A Hungry Childhood in Kenya,” with Peter Kimeu from Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Oct. 28 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Library Community Room. Kimeu will tell his personal story of overcoming hunger and poverty in Kenya and how his experience leads his work with CRS. He will also talk about what CRS is doing to restore hope and build self-sufficiency in Africa.

Kimeu is a CRS senior technical adviser with 34 years of experience in addressing hunger, health, water and peace building programs in Kenya.
